Easy DIY Printed Baby Leggings

Friday, August 1, 2014

Wellll.
I almost didn't share this tutorial with you because the photos are really horrible quality. And the leggings didn't turn out exactly as I had imagined.
But here I am posting it anyway.
Enjoy!

Note: Don't forget to slip some cardboard or heavy paper into the pant legs before stamping so the ink doesn't bleed through!

I think next time I want to try this tutorial from One Little Momma.
I'd also love to try potato stamping sometime. Look how cute Kelli's leggings turned out over at Kelli Trontel Lifestyle.

Let me know if you try this out!
I'd love to see pictures!
Or if you have your own blog post of DIY leggings, link it below!

What's in Jack's [toddler] closet?

Monday, November 25, 2013

Finally I'm bringing you an outfit from Jack Jack!
These pictures make me a little bit sad because they were taken the same day my father-in-law had a heart attack. This is obviously before it happened.  Jack & I had been having such a fun and happy day (I mean look at that smile!) and I just feel a pang of sadness every time I think that we had no idea what was coming in a few short hours.
But this little happy face is still so cute and he's rocking this outfit (even though Daddy says his leggings look like tights...haha, we are planning to go up a size so they're a little less tight) so we're going to share with you!

FYI, it's almost impossible to get a non-blurry picture of a toddler!

Sweater: Target [same]
It's $5! Seriously, you can't beat it!
Leggings: Target [same]
Yes, they are from the toddler girls' section. So if you're dressing a boy I recommend going up a size. Jack is wearing his normal size in these pictures [18 months] but the 24 month ones are looser and less girly-looking. We already exchanged his other leggings that he hadn't worn yet for the bigger size and will be buying a new pair of the black in the 24 month size.
Moccs: Minnetonka from amazon.com [same]
BUY ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN NORMAL.
Seriously. I tried to go up a size thinking he'd fit in them longer. BIG mistake. They were HUGE. So he normally wears a size 4 and these are a size 3 and a great fit. They even warn you that they run large...it's true! So listen to them and order down a size!

Obsessed.

Thursday, September 12, 2013

You'd think since I already have a little boy
and lots of little boy clothes
I wouldn't be so obsessed over them.
But...I am.
I couldn't help browsing baby stores online
right after the gender reveal party
annnd now I want to buy almost everything I've seen.
Lucky for me, this little boy will be a winter baby
whereas Jack was a summer baby.
So I do actually need some baby clothes.
Which is great because I can satisfy my shopping addiction a little bit
without feeling too guilty.
Want to see my current picks?

H&M booties.
I'm dying over the cuteness.

I think I'm going to buy like 50 beanies.
They're just SO cute and Jack never got to wore them as a little babe since it was so hot!
I obviously will have the baby wear one pretty much every day.

This comfy little outfit?
Oh my goodness.

I'm telling you...there is NOT a limited selection of adorable beanies.
Apparently stores know that mommies are suckers for them.
I'm definitely bringing like 5 to the hospital so Baby doesn't have to wear the boring hospital ones.

THIS is my dream going-home outfit.
But it was sold out online when I found it yesterday
and today it's not even showing up at all!
Boo boo boo!

If you didn't notice, I'm just a little bit obsessed with stripes right now.
I think everything I buy will have stripes.
Yep, everything.

Summer Infant Swaddleme Purelove - Monkey Stripe
Even this SwaddleMe I absolutely have to have.
HAVE to.
I have two newborn ones already but these are the BEST so three is better than two.
Plus it's so adorable I can't NOT buy it.

Even though I don't really need a lot of stuff this time around
I will definitely be creating a registry soon so I can get my 10% off at Target on everything baby!

Little boys are so fun!

What We Wear Wednesday

Wednesday, August 14, 2013

- Marci -
Top: H&M
[similarhere is an actual maternity version...I will need that in a few more weeks!]
Belt: Forever21
Bracelet: Forever21
Jeans: Old Navy Maternity
*I'm happy to report these are still way too big. I had to keep adjusting them all day to keep them on.
BUT they were my very favorite, most comfy pair of maternity jeans last pregnancy.
I'm sure they'll be the same this time around when my belly is a little bigger and can hold them up!
Shoes: Walmart
[same]
Also...I just saw these while looking for that link and oh my goodness, so cute!
Don't automatically eliminate Walmart from your list of clothing stores!

- Jack Jack -
Top: Carter's
Shorts: Old Navy

Tickle sneak attack!

17.5 week bump pictures!

What We Wear Wednesday

Wednesday, May 15, 2013

Okay so...
I've been so crazy busy working on the house
[since we move in on Saturday, ahhh! + hooray!]
and I definitely completely forgot about WWWW.
Until just now when we took a break for dinner.
Since I'm wearing ripped up, paint-stained jeans and my little sister's faded Girls' Camp t-shirt I'm just not going to post about today's outfit.
So I'm cheating...again.
These pictures are from Mother's Day but my outfit worked that day and I have a pictures so...
it's a winner and I'm using it.

- Marci -
Dress: Gap
It was super on sale, super cute, the last one left and 3 sizes too big.
But it's one of those rare finds where you can make it work even though it's clearly too large.
It's longer than my size would have been which is great since my size would have been too short for my comfort and it came with a belt (which I swapped for one of my own in this outfit) so you can cinch it up and voila!
Belt: Forever 21
Cardigan: Forever 21
Tights: Target ($5!)
Boots: Forever Young (Utah only, boo!)

- Jack Jack -
Plaid button-up onesie: Carter's
Tie: Tie One On
Pants: Old Navy

Back to work...
Happy Wednesday!
