The Baby Shower I Never Posted

My sisters-in-law threw the sweetest little baby shower for Zoe girl! When we originally were choosing dates I told them we could do anytime in June as I was pretty dang sure she wouldn't make an early arrival. We had Phillip's baby shower just 8 days before he was due (maybe pushing our luck but he didn't make his grand debut until his official due date so it worked out fine!) and I thought we could totally do the same for Baby Girl if we had to. Luckily (!!) we ended up choosing the last Saturday of May which was a little over a month before Zoe was due and it turned out that she arrived just a week and a few days later!

My mother-in-law's backyard was decorated so cute, the food was SO delicious, the guests filled out Baby Name Suggestion forms (which I'm pretty sure is where we saw the name Zoe and how we started considering it!) and we got so many amazing gifts including a new rocker for the nursery, a Solly Baby Wrap, and darling clothes & accessories!

A huge thank you goes out to my sisters-in-law who made this fun & pretty baby shower possible and to all my sweetest friends & family who showered our little Zoe with so much love (and helped us pick her name haha)!

Hello! I'm here with a(nother) big fat photo spam from Zoe's first days when we were still in the hospital. Her first 48 hours consisted of lots of visitors, loves of cuddling, lots of loving...and no name (for a little over 24 hours). Haha!

Truth: Zoe is almost 4 months old.

Truth: I'm just now posting Zoe's 1 month photos and update.

Truth: There are 50 too many pictures in this post.

Truth: Every single picture is too cute to omit.

Truth: I'm so behind on blogging.

One month updates via my insta post: She rarely cries, is finally awake more than 2 hours in a 24 hour period, spits up what feels like every 5 seconds (I cannot keep up!), falls asleep on her own like a champ (not swaddled and not held!), wakes 1-2 times a night to feed, is smothered with love every day by two well-meaning big brothers, still in all newborn clothes, has bright blue eyes and the fluffiest dark hair! Oh Zoe, you are perfect and so loved (although we could do with a little less spit-up!).
